Adidas now sell custom Star Wars shoes

These might just be the droids you're looking for

With the release of the new Star Wars movie approaching it’s unsurprising that there’s been a surge in software and product tie-ins in an effort to take fan anticipation and turn it into hysteria, like putting them through some kind of emotional hyperspace. One of the newest, and prettiest, additions to these authorised products is the new Star Wars collection from Adidas. Using miAdidas customisation you can now put together your own Superstar 80s and ZX Fluxes with exclusive Star Wars features. It seems to be increasingly fashionable to integrate franchises into shoe collections, as Adidas have already released a lineup of Star Wars trainers in 2012, and Vans and Converse have also released limited edition Marvel and DC branded shoes. But as you know, at Gadgette, we love our geek-chic.

Unlike last time, Adidas are offering a wide range of customisation in their Star Wars line. Reflective and metallic silvers and golds are available, exclusive to Star Wars pairs, so you can sport the glimmer of a freshly waxed Starfighter, as well as brand specific prints like Stormtrooper heads. You can also get into the nitty gritty details with a range of character faces able to be displayed as the lace jewel and a few Star Wars laces to choose from.

If that’s not enough Star Wars for you, Adidas have also created the ability to select special shell toes and heels that have storm trooper or Darth Vader faces on them so that you represent the dark side in style. To customise your own pair, head to the miAdidas page. Women’s sizes range from 3.5 to 13.5 UK and prices start from £90.

Please note: Force not included.
