Monument Valley is a beautiful game, there’s no denying it; its levels are colourful, puzzling, and frequently architecturally astounding. It makes sense that someone would want to transfer all of this into reality and a Lego set seems like a natural extension of the game, and the best way to bring it to life.
The set has been proposed by Isometry on the Lego Ideas site and includes four landscapes from the game that are modular and interactive; featuring rotating walkways, platforms, pillars, staircases, bridges and water wheels. It even has miniatures of Ida, Totem, and the Crow as well as ‘illusion stickers’ which will add dimension to the build.
It’s not easy to get a Lego set approved and made into a reality; it has to get 10000 votes from the public, after which it’s presented to the Lego review board who will have the final decision on whether or not it’s actually a viable set to create and sell.
This set is off to a good start, though, with 1588 supporters in around two weeks and 528 days left to gather some more. It even has the support of the game’s creators (which is how we discovered it).
