6 things we want this week

We're not shopped out yet!

Team Gadgette have been working hard and we think we’re in need of a treat. We think you’re in need of a treat too, so to inspire you here are the things we’re throwing our money at this week.

Gamer in Chief Emma

Baymax Hoodie

I don’t know many people that watched Big Hero 6 and came away without a love of Baymax, or at the very least a desire to be cuddled by the friendly inflatable robot. At the moment, it looks like the closest I’m going to get to a hug from Baymax is wearing this cosy hoodie. Pull the hood down and you can even look like him! The hoodie is available in sizes S to XXL.

Princess Zelda Nendoroid

Nendoroids are adorable figures designed in a ‘chibi’ style. There are over 500 of them available and each one can be moved into different positions, comes with changeable expressions, and their own accessories. I love them. And now that it’s been announced there’s going to a Princess Zelda from The Wind Waker version I have a mighty need. As well as her 3 facial expressions she comes with her bow, a Light Arrow, and both the Master Sword and a Mirror Shield. This doll is only available for pre-order at the moment with a release of October this year.

Game of Thrones Colouring Book

Colouring books are incredibly popular just now as a method of unwinding. I own one myself (it’s Harry Potter) and although I don’t use it all that frequently, when I do find the time I have to admit it’s pretty relaxing to work towards an image you know it’s going to be difficult to screw up. I’m interested in getting my hands on this Game of Thrones version partly for a break from the wizarding world and partly to get the chance to colour some life back into the cheeks of my favourite dead characters.

Jurassic Park Brooches

I was utterly obsessed with dinosaurs as a child and the excitement hasn’t faded growing up. I was already reciting species names from books before Jurassic Park came out so imagine my excitement when I went to the cinema to see the most amazing CGI dinosaurs ever. Naturally I flipped out when I saw these amazing brooches by Kate Gabrielle. From raptor skulls to The Goldblum, there’s something for every JP fan.

Prices range from $10 (£7.05) to $18 (£12.70) with shipping for $4.50 (£3.17) from Kate Gabrielle

JumpFromPaper bags

I can’t get over these real bags that look like something from Neko Atsume. They’re genuine 3D bags but the design makes them look like 2D art coming to life. The company is perfectly named Jump From Paper. I’m not sure exactly which one I want; I just need more cute doodle fashion in my life!

For the current collection, handbags start at €80 (£63.68) and rucksacks are €100 (£79.60) with shipping at €20 (£15.92) from JumpFromPaper

Tesla 3

I’ve been on the lookout for a vehicle that does 215 miles to a charge, 0 to 60 mph in under 6 seconds, has seating for 5 adults, a 5-star safety rating, autopilot hardware, and supercharging functionality. You know, to get from A to B. Tesla recently announced their Model 3, which seems to tick the boxes.

The Tesla Model 3 is available for just $35,000 (£24,691) with a reservation fee of $1,000 (£705.62). Deliveries begin late 2017.
