This is the Game of Thrones and Legend of Zelda crossover we didn’t realise we needed

Rated 18 for destroyed childhoods

From the land of things we didn’t know we needed but now don’t know how did without comes an unofficial Game of Thrones and Legend of Zelda crossover of epic proportions. Called Game of Hyrule, the short fan-made film from YouTube channel Megasteakman brings the moral greyness of the Game of Thrones universe to the kingdom of Hyrule with potentially childhood-ruining results. The story is that the Hyrule Kingdom is on the edge of ruin from years of warfare against the Gerudo, but a cruel deal has been struck that has the potential to change the course of history forever.

As you might expect there are a couple of potentially not safe for work moments (it is influenced by Game of Thrones after all) but you can check it out below:

We’re impressed by just how well-made this fan film is and we love all of the ways its creators have managed to mash the universes together, from the use of Lon Lon Milk to the punishment of the water dungeon to the shudder-inducing Cucco execution.

We kind of wish it was a real series, actually.
