I love Spring and Summer beauty releases as I always find them much more appealing; lots of balmy textures, pretty colours, wearable textures and generally easier-to-work with products that are much less fussy and a lot more fun. There are some great new beauty products coming our way, so here are five new launches that are well worth checking out.
1. Omorovicza Cashmere Cleanser
Omorovicza are very suddenly releasing lots of newness, which is particularly exciting for me as I really love this fabulous Hungarian skincare brand. The Cashmere Cleanser promises to soothe and calm sensitive skin, but I’m a personal believer in the benefits of gentle cleansers for all skin types (leave the activity to the rest of the skincare) so this is the sort of product that would slot happily into most routines. It’s £47 here.
2. Sisley Phyto-Lip Delight
If you like your make-up French and fancy, the Sisley Phyto-Lip Delight is a hybrid product that starts off as gel-like balm, before breaking down into a lightly tinted oil to give that flattering, sheer gloss look that’s beautiful with any makeup look.
There are currently three shades – the nude #cool, the very pretty #pink and the peachy #sweet – I want them all. Every single one. Find them here for £37.
Not everyone wants to blow big bucks on single products, so if it’s a solid bargain you’re after, Avon Letterbox Looks are a brilliant idea: a collection of six products (in a letterbox-friendly delivery) that are matched to your skin tone, so you get a complete look (eyeliner, mascara, foundation, blusher, eyeshadow quad and lipstick) that’s tailored to suit your complexion. You get £51 worth of product for £20.
I struggle to contain my excitement when Real Techniques release something new, so if you’re the same then you’ll want to add the Instapop collection to your wish list. The collection consists of a Face Brush, Cheek Brush and Eye Duo, and all four brushes are designed with powder application in mind, so expect tapered brush heads that provide a firm coverage for achieving that flawless (highly unrealistic…) Instagram face.
The cheek brush is £8.99, whilst the face and eye duo are both £10.99. Boots currently have them on 3for2 here.
5. Abnomaly Petrowhat?
The brains behind Deciem have a new range of balms coming out, with the somewhat odd name of Abnomaly Petrowhat? They seem to have a similar vibe to cult favourite Lanolips, plus they’re free from petrolatum (petroleum jelly – like Vaseline) and are launching with four flavours: Rio (guava), Bali (pineapple), Baobab (grimness) and Milk (coconut milk), so some fairly interesting flavours that will, at the very least, provide something a bit different to your typical strawberry Lipsyl. They’re £7 each here.
